Because of my excess weight I could not enjoy life the way normal people do. I decided to loose weight because I came to a point where I realized I would be in a wheel chair, or dead, if I didn’t do something.

I was on 7 different medications and I was depressed. I couldn’t, have a regular day with my husband, play with my grandchildren, or do anything that required any kind of strength. All I could do is sitting all day in my old recliner. I decided to have weight loss surgery.

When I was overweight, I only watched like others enjoyed themselves and couldn’t participate in any physical activity. Beside that, being diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 30 and suffering from very high blood pressure pushed me to loose the weight. I managed to loose up to 100 lbs alone but gained them back, I knew I could do it, but needed help. That’s when I decided to have Gastric By-pass surgery and I lost 198lbs.
